The shaft is extremely smooth and well finished. The grip on the cue is nice. The joint protectors are a nice touch. Also comes with nice thread protectors.
The mcdermott pro cue kit2 is a great starter pool cue kit. Very nice setup for beginner to a old timer like me. Played a couple of hours with my adult grandson.
Product is exactly as advertised. Really happy with this purchase. Well worth it.

Excellent price for a cue stick and case.
For under $100 you get a decent cue, a case to carry it in and the ability to maintain the tip.
The price has gone up since i purchased it.
I have a buddy who plays with a $1500 mcdermott.

Have been shipped by ups carrier and the quick and parcel care impressed me.

Again get your time in with the quality tip on cue and then when ready drop the 250 on a top of the line mcdermott shaft
