If you tilt the bottle and use only a couple of the bristles to apply to the zipper it can be done with no mess. Zips more smoothly and easily.

After thousands on a rooftop tent and awning with walls i began to look for ways to maximize their lifespan. This product specifically addresses zipper wear and will keep my excessive camping setup zipping for years to come.
Cons
Zippers, to my knowledge, are not lubricated after manufacturing. Was like two tubes of chapstick. As far as lubrication goes - cannot tell if it actually did anything.

Easy to use, cleans & lubricates zippers without getting your hands yucky.
Due to repeated exposure to salt spray these zippers had been petrified by corrosion and had been absolutely immovable for about 10 years.
The dirt suck to the zippers bad, but that’s what i get sand and wet stuff doesn’t go together.
The zippers were both completely destroyed, tough to pull, and in some places pulling apart.
Price
My waders cost nearly 600 bucks, so this little investment gives me peace of mind.
It would have cost me hundreds of dollars to replace my zippers.
For $5 my tent zippers are like new.
So much cheaper than constantly fixing/replacing zippers.
