The alarm on the app which communicates with the unit is awesome. They are little pricey, but i think they are worth it. The app works well and bluetooth connects easily to my iphone.

Meater blocks come with 4 wired probes for monitoring your cook. Ideal for smoking, grilling, etc. If you have sausages on various parts of the grill, they cook at different temperatures.
Cons
Wifi connection issues all the time. I've factory reset the device twice, reinstalled the app and it continues to disconnect. Losing dinner because the battery dies is no good.

This likely explain the garbage time till done predictor. Garbage data in, garbage predictions out. This is so counterintuitive. Don't put up with this nonsense.

The meater has been and always will be my choice for cooking my pichania steaks and any other large piece of meat!
With four meaters, it makes it easy to cook to satisfy everyone’s taste all at once.
I have one probe right now that hasn’t worked in almost 3 months and i have no idea how to get it to connect back.
If i’m finishing something off in the oven it won’t connect unless i have the block basically glued to the glass.
Price
For the money you spend this thing should be more accurate probe to probe.
This thing may be expensive but you get so much that it needs its own arms and it would do everything for you!

The app is beautifully designed and very informative and i found it strangely interesting to go back and look at the graphs from previous cooks to better understand how bbq develops overtime with different heating

The times i have used mine there have been a 5 to 8 degree difference in temp between probes

Ease of use does disconnect from wifi but quickly reconnects tempature accuracy is off a little bit just use a thermometer to verify it’s done the way you want
