Cons

Temp is 225-230 and meater shows 20 degrees less for ambient temp. The range on this thermometer is way too short. If i close the lid on the grill, then the range drops to zero. There’s no way that the 33’ description is accurate.

This thing is garbage. Too bulky. I'm not sure why, but it’s just a paperweight now.

Customer service is legitimately not customer centered. No big deal, it's under warranty.

Turned a 2 inch prime strip stake into blasted shoe leather. These are worthless for use in long-term cooks, such as smoking.

This is not an item built for longevity nor is the service which supports it robust. The price tag for all of these are pretty steep.
