I am a programmer by trade and spend most of my time fiddling in the terminal and doing text editing and i can tell you once you get used to the layout and the arrows being where they are you will be very reluctant to go back to any other keyboardsince arrow keys are almost in the same spot as where vims hjkl are

The way the custom function layer is controlled is a step back imo

If you upgrade the firmware to the latest version you can hold down right altwindows keyand press space

Read the manual since the media keys are not labeled on the keyboard

They are decent quality but some of the letters started to fade after 2 to 3 months of use
