Pros & Cons
Pros
Mechanix gloves are thin enough that you can get a good feel of what you are doing, and are tough and hold up very well. Takes 3 away batteries per glove. If you are looking for a comfortable glove that will give you a good grip, protect you from blis... Read More
Love the fit & comfort. Snug and precise fit. Fit is very tactile similar to the originals, but not quite as good. They are comfortable i like the wide opening on cuff.
They also protect my hands from thorns, etc. They are also washable. I suspect they’d be great for wrenching and stuff around the house.
The durahide leather is superbly durable.
Cons
Bought the last pair in oct and have already ripped out on a finger in less 5 months use. These are likely just fine for very occasional use but not very good for regular use. I have some cheaper garden glove that are tougher than these.
The gloves are very comfortable but thats because they're so pathetically thin. These gloves must have been glued at the seams and not sewn together. But mostly handling lumber.
Highlights
Quality
Consistent stitching and quality of materials make these an absolute must have for anyone working with their hands.
Allows good grip with the leather surface.
Do not size up with the gloves.
I used to burn through the typical cloth mechanix gloves like nothing with the palms ripping out after a few hours of yard work.
