The crochet ring isn't very sharp and is pretty small, with no way to adjust the size aside from the gap in the plastic.
Handles are sturdy and my hooks have yet to slip outthe hooks have ergonomic handles that have a decent grip to them.

I had a kit before where all hooks were held in place in order which is nice but not absolutely necessary and the low price offsets any inconvenience from that difference
