Rubber on the flanges are game changers! It also helps with the suction and staying on the breast. The suction is effective and the bag makes the pump very easy to tote around.

The swing maxi is quiet and compact. The soft shields on this pump are a game changer defiantly designed with moms in mind. If getting it as a second pump, it uses the same connectors as the pump in style which is convenient.

Medela swing maxi is a great alternative to the spectra s2 and medela pump in style. The new triangular shape of the tube input is convenient and allows for less cleaning. The only thing i didn't like about the pump is how short the tubing is.

Cons

At least the membranes are interchangeable. But it's also quite large, and doesn't exactly fit in my pocket. The problem is they all have only been lasting me a few months.

It starts out well and then the suction starts to go wonky. Sometimes* it works if it’s plugged in, but mostly it just pumps for two sections and then turns off even when plugged in. The milk accumulates in the phalanges and stops suctioning.

Great suction, stays charged long and easy to use.

After 2 months of steady use it’s as good as the first day i opened it.

I hated the spectra tubing it was flimsy and any slight movement would come unplugged.

This is a great price for a great pump.

I was nervous because the cost but it is so worth it!

The bag that comes with it is cute, and it is nice to have a cooler feature in the bag to store the milk on your way home.

I exclusive pumped for my first child in 2019, and back then i used a medela pump in style in addition to several other brands.

Milk output: i find that there is really little to no change in the output when comparing the spectra 2 and the medela swing maxi.
