The medea nursing pads are excellent for absorption, discreteness, and comfort. They are disposable, making them hygienic and easy to use. The only thing i want to complain is the edge of pad sometime making me itchy.

Medela wrappers are easier to open because they have a tear line. Both are curved to better conform to the skin.

They are very noticeable if you don't have a bra with some form of padding. Though they catch leaks/letdowns pretty well, they crumple up all the time in my bra since the sticky part is just a strip in the middle.
