Marcus aurelius' meditations is a way of looking at the world, of removing the urgency of ambition. Many reviews refer to the superiority of the hays translation -- this is not necessarily true. The hammond translation has jems of its own.

This review is strictly for the kindle book. The size of this book is ridiculous. Doesn't fit on the shelf with any of my other books. Copy looks cheap like printer paper.

This edition is a shameless reprint of a public domain work from project gutenberg.

The font is minuscule, the margins narrow, and line spacing so poor as to compromise reading. There are headers for each section, but the pages are blank.

The book is not conducive to travel, or really any practical reading. It's an utterly miserable experience and reading it becomes a chore. Here are a couple of examples of the absurd things i found just in the introduction from the unnamed author.

I still could never recommend purchasing it. This one blows.
