For the most i ride rails to trails, and need to stop more than the road runners with the clipless pedal.

Price

The price was right, and they turned out to be a great product.

For the price i am going to install sets on all my bikes and unicycles.

All in all, for a much higher price i'd suggest these pedals.

Competitiveness

I don't use clipless pedals because i need to change the position of my feet from time to time.

Better than the cheap target replacements i broke and larger than the stock trek metal ones on my wife's $650 trek hydrid.

So i'm able to push and pull close to a clipless pedal.

These really do lock onto your shoes and give you some of the pull of clipless pedals.
