I bought meguiars 5” microfiber pads as well and fit on the backing plate well also.
They seem to hold up a little bit better than the pads i purchased at harbor freight which are less expensive.

The backing plate is very well made and the velcro seems like it will hold up very well even though i sent it back i use other maguire car products and they have very good

The color has a blue tint to them which i expected a white light
