It can do if you leave it on longer, however, the meguiar's product made the vinyl much shinier, which on the mg in particular, with a really raked windscreen, resulted too shiny a surface which, whilst not distorting vision, meant that sunlight was very bright and at certain angles reflected up onto the screen.  Read Less
