Pros & Cons
Pros
It is durable enough to withstand the winter in their coop. It's almost a little too heavy. The toy is brightly painted and solid.
Our 11 month old mostly enjoys chewing on the mallets, but his daddy has become quite the proficient xylophone player. Our great grandson loves it. My grandchildren just love this xylophone.
Cons
Low c to high c is way more than an octave off. The mallets are hexagons, which make them very difficult to hit with at a good angle.
The fisher price set that's been around forever does a much better job as a xylophone. It's cute and well built but completely pointless except as a noise maker. I was disappointed in the manufacturing execution and quality control of this item.
Seemed poorly put together. It was a poor medium.
Highlights
Quality
They are sturdy vibrant and very good.
The xylophone is durable, he has thrown it across the floor and nothing has broken.
Heavy, quality toy that isn’t even loud!
We have had this product for under a month and its very much dented.
Price
The value is incredible, for a wood and metal product.
Packaging/appearance
The neutral colored wood is dented from my children missing when they're hitting the keys.
