Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Cons

The paper is very thin like printing paper. This is thinner than computer paper. The quality is much worse than regular printing paper but is priced higher. Might be more flimsy than printer paper even.

Melissa & doug is falsely advertised. This product is hugely disappointing. Do not buy this product.

The paper is as thin as regular notebook paper. It rips when you pull it out of the pad. It is very difficult to tear the paper out neatly without leaving torn edges.

The paper is super thin and even crayola markers bleed right through it. I received drawing pads that slightly differed from the advertised product.

I find the description to be a little misleading since this is not at all heavy weight paper. As the cover says heavy paper this is pretty disappointing" "the package clearly says 'heavyweight' which it’s not heavy weight at all.

Quality

Sturdy paper, even for a 2 year old who scribbles hard.

Quality of paper is great and very durable

Luckily, the paper in this pad tears out very easily without ripping.

We used it with markers, color pencils, and even watercolor (not recommended though)

Price

Lots of good paper for a good price.

If you like the price then it’s worth it.

I like the price for three drawing pads.

Packaging/appearance

I was afraid when i opened the package and studied the paper it would be too thin for the washable markers i included with my gift.

Competitiveness

I’ve bought many other art store paper for pens, markers, pencils etc but this is the brand my daughter repeatedly asks for by brand name.
