Pros
Puzzle is beautiful! Very sturdy. Solid wood, lightweight. I find my self returning to their products for each of the next stages in development.
Really good starter up to help teach the littler ones to do puzzles. Amp; def gives him that stimulation his brain craves for.
Cons
The wood is not sanded, so the dust just keeps falling off. The puzzles are not washable at all, because they are made by paper + wood? Lots of saw dust.
I am very disappointed. I generally like melissa and doug products but this was dismaying to say the least.
It's difficult to clean out and wouldn't want any baby to put their mouth on it and ingest. Not a good toy for little ones that are teething or just love putting toys in their mouth. Concerned that my great grandchild chewed off paint of the puzzles.
The main photo of this puzzle is misleading. Its quality is unacceptable! Was not in original packaging.

My only complaint is that some sides are really rigid so the pieces get stuck while trying to put them in but over time it gets better.

It is good to know from other reviewers that the puzzle pieces do not hold up to a long time in the mouth

Since the puzzle piece is not a solid wood piece i imagine if left in the mouth for a long time it could warp

At this age im planning to use the puzzle with supervision anyway so there wont be a chance for my grandson to use it as a chewing type toy

Most puzzles are for older children but since these only have 3 pieces to each board there isn’t so much going that it’s too “busy” for her
