Pros
The beads are big enough that i don't have to worry about little sister choking on them. The holes are large for clumsy little fingers to work with. Stringing beads is one of the tests for preschool, she's having fun and learning.
Exactly as pictured. Easy to lace. And, are easier to lace than lacing cards.
Great for teaching fine motor skills, grouping similar shapes, counting, and building. Great dexterity toy. Great toy to promote dexterity and also easy to clean.
Cons
Don't be fooled. Thay are all made in china. The hole that the cloth string goes through is unfinished and raggedy.

We really like these, they have great colors and are very well made.
I do wish the laces had a longer stiff part to thread into the blocks, as it takes some manipulation to get them through the holes.
The paint is scratching off a little already.

My daughter is not a huge fan of lacing but she took to this set

I the holes are not ultra smooth inside and the laces can snag a little which can make the practice frustrating for little ones
