The first one that was received had been opened, manual/filter pack torn open, and handle broken.
The box was not sealed and the shipping foam missing.

This coffee maker, along with graffeo coffee from north beach makes the best coffee that the two of us have had.
I like it better than my older coffee-maker, a cuisin.

I have no complaints about it general function but the coffee pot is designed in such a way that you cannot get the last couple of tablespoons of the coffee out of the pot unless you turn it completely upside down then who knows where the coffee will splash
