I registered on the melitta website as they sell 'refurbished' machines on there for nearly half the price of the stainless steel version.

I’m not some coffee expert and i don’t really require all the in depth analysis that you’ll find on the youtube videos but i’ll provide some information that i’ve received on this product

Initially i was going to return this machine as the milk based drinks are lukewarm

You will see videos on the internet showing the high brewing temperature for coffee and water at around 90deg and nothing for the milk

I made a milk drink when i first received the item and it was lukewarm at best my initial reaction was that the machine was faulty

I contacted the melitta support and they were very helpful they told me the correct temp values from memory the coffee on the high brew temperature and hot water should leave the machine at 82deg the milk is 53deg

There is also an acceptable tolerance of 5deg so the machine will be deemed to be working correctly if the milk produced is 48deg
