Learnt a tough lesson. Melitta can't and wouldn't help you, so you have to wiggle with the beans. Warranty can't be extended and melitta don't repair it after warranty expires.

I didnt expect quite as much maintenance but worth it each day requires the drip tray and grounds to be emptied each week requires the blending unit to be cleaned each month requires a cleaning programme to be run and the water filter changed and every 2 months a descaling programme should be run
