If you are considering a mill-and-brew machine, you won't find a better (or better-priced) one than this melitta.
I have seen more expensive makers that do as much and the ratings were not nearly as positive.
The grinder is stelth compared to the cuisine art.
The melitta is 100% a better product and much easier to clean.

Yes there have been a few occasions when the basket cover would not latch properly but investigation has shown that either i didnt seat the inner cover properly or there was a stray bean caught in the hinge

Its a little hard to fiqure out the timer so save the instruction book if you dont use that feature often
