I would highly recommend these lederhosens, they are a really nice quality.
I went with the 38 just to be safe because i read the reviews but i have to return it for a 40 now.

They are fairly trim in the legs and hips and i think a 36 would have been too tight

The size tag inside is european which does not always translate directly to american sizes
