Pros
On the upside, the right-angle component of the supplied barrel connector ensures that the cable securely attaches to the unit, which could be useful in some circumstances. I'm amazed at how powerful this light is!
The brightness is good and offers a nice atmosphere. It's not as bright as an ordinary light bulb, but then it is meant to be a nightlight. That's enough to illuminate the furniture without making it too bright to sleep.
I am currently trialling using the night light as a bedside light. We use this in the hallway and sometimes on the stair which helps my daughter go to sleep without being scared. Perfect for a bedroom, baby room or kitchen lamp.
Box includes usb to barrel jack lead and a usb to 3-pin uk plug. Allows you to take advantage of an existing multi-port usb charger. One thing i would have liked is a longer power lead, but you could extend it with a usb extender if required.
Perfect for bedside cabinet and integration with my smart home via apple homekit. The product is a great price for a homekit compatible lamp. It's nice to see an affordable homekit lamp now widely available.
Cons
Lamp is not responding and resetting it. Very disappointing. If buying for this reason do not buy. Poor, just not bright enough.

I recommend you also install the lamp into the meross app as this will ensure you get regular firmware updates and have more control.
To give an idea of just how bright 100% is - our night light setting on the meross night light is 5%.

The design is somewhat reminiscent of a homepod or google nest with 2 discrete and coloured sections split along the horizontal axis.
This is now the 6th meross product that i have purchased, all set up and working using amazon alexa.

The only problem was i had two iphones with the same apple account and it seemed work well in one but not the other and they take turns to play bad guy and good guy at times which is frustrating
