The instructions for this product are really poor and include qr codes to support pages that don't exist. They’re not smart, they expect you to manually test the alarms every week… manually lol.

The bad while it works as a normal alarm if its not connected to the hub it loses the smart functionality the distance isnt the best i do occasionally get a warning it has disconnected its about 6m from the hub to the alarmwith 1 wall and 2m from the hub to the wifi

Im in an old rented house there arent any closer plugs i can spare and its only a couple of times the hub has disconnected like i say it still functions like a dumb fire alarm without it so thats ok i suppose

In order to use this with apple homekit even on this new crossplatform compatibility you still need to have a meross hub

Having many meross lamps that are directly compatible with apple it was really frustrating to find this out upon delivery
