Quality
Product works fine and ties with alexa fine.
They are simple on/off and do what they say i am happy with the price and the setup was easy.
The light was stuck in the on position, so instead of replacing it, again, i went with the smart switch.
Set timer to come on/off with the sun.
Packaging/appearance
I have 14 of the meross smart switches at home.
Only improvement suggestion would be to include a wiring instructions in the packaging and not just on the switch.
Competitiveness
I have 20 meross products and simple smart switches and plugs work well
Have other meross items (3 way switch) and this one works perfectly.
I also own some wyze products, and it’s surprising how they don’t have simple options like turning on/off at sunrise/sunset.
This issue has been frustrating over the time i’ve had these meross switches.

Although the listing says it fits your existing 1234 gang standard size decoragfci faceplate you can see in my pictures how the thickness in the flange prevents the faceplate from making contact with the wall and how there is a lip around the edge of the switches where they dont seat all the way into the faceplate

After researching these switches and finding that there is only a secure mqtt connection to the cloud i was happy to use them

You can set up your own private mqtt server too if you want not supported by the company

When told to turn on or off they are fast to do so even when using alexa

It would be much better if the switches just used screws instead of leadwires

The switches are a bit deep also which didnt help

I also found that if you overtighten the mounting screws it tweaks the case enough where the paddle doesnt go down without a squeak just loosen a little
