I have begun replacing them with the meross switches and they work perfectly, and are a better value than the wemos.
This is one of those things that works with apple homekit.
I have another older version of he same meross outdoor smart plug and like it, so that's why i bought this brand.
I have a few wemo switches left, but as they fail, i will replace them with the meross switches.

After plugging in you have to download the vendors app to pair to your wifi and control through your phone however the only thing you can do on the app is turn onoff and it’s only when you’re on the same wifi connection
