Pros & Cons
Pros
The automation aspect is really nice - especially as i continue to build out our smart home's capabilities. Uses 2ghz wifi network that your phone is currently connected to. App is awesome.
Meross dimmer is the cheapest and most reliable on the market. It looks like a premium switch without the premium price. It is approved anywhere a ul item is.
The dimmer smoothly allows the full range of dimming and no flicker or buzzing. The led to show that the lights are on is a nice touch and the dim level leds next to the paddle are also a thoughtful addition.
Cons
What a waste of money, time, and my patience. Meross support is only via email. No chat.
When the lights are undimmed and the water heater is running, no flicker; dim the lights and the flicker returns. They sporadically turn themselves on at seemingly random times. It is not gradual / smooth but rather a step by step dimming.
