Pros

Meross smart switch with remote works great with smartthings hub, and alexa. Best part about this dimmer switch is the google assistant and amazon alexa compatibility. The app is easy to use and the setup is straight forward.

Easy replacement for my existing light switch. Comes with twist connectors for wiring. Installation is easy, but there is going to be a lot of wire nuts in your light switch receptacle.

The best part about the product is that it allows you to change how low the dimmer goes. They are way cheaper than the lutron ones. Working well.

Cons

Everything from 75%-100% is the same brightness. Unfortunately accurate dimming can only be done from the phone. Lumen bulbs are not nearly bright enough so even if they worked all the time i would need a different solution.

It may take 2 or 3 tries to connect it to the wifi network, but even with the addition tries it only took me 3 minutes to connect it.

All the devices are super easy to install with the app and it even walks you through wiring the circuit as well.

Then i bought the meross smart light switch and it works just as well, so now i have all my security lights on and off at the same time.

Competitiveness

Installation was straightforward and matched other meross products i own.

To mount the remote, i purchased a 2-gang screwless plate from eaton and then tape the remote on one side.

They are way cheaper than the lutron ones.
