The cost was reasonable and there's no subscription.
Packaging/appearance
It's faster to just go to the meross app and tap the garage door icon.
This is affordable, does what it's supposed to out of the box, integrates smoothly, and it isn't fussy.

I installed the smart meross app and could not get alexa to find the units.
Lol other meross products i purchased are very nice (bulbs, sockets, outlets etc).

May have to disconnect wifi on phone and use phone network to openclose garage using the app
