Pros
It has 30 led's per meter (~9 per foot). The light is bright enough for what i want it for. The app works well for them.
Setup is quick, syncs to homekit pretty quickly. My only real issue is the meross app. Thankfully all functions can be controlled from within google home after it has been linked.
The product itself works well. These make a huge impact to my kitchen. Works better than hoped for.
The light strip controller allows for two strips to be installed parallel to each other, or in an alternate direction from the power source. This provides for ambient illumination of the curtains and the recesses. Its rgbww so its vibrant.
Highlights
Quality
Attaching to walls was easy with supplied 3m tape backing.
Was shockingly easy to connect to wi-fi network and the meross app, although very simple got the job done.
Bad:there are no measurements on ad of the width or height of the strip leds, which i had to get from meross direct.
Easy installation, however the light is not as bright as i thought it would be.
Price
Good:it's a decent price for a homekit (apple) suitable smart light.
Competitiveness
The syncing up for the first time seemed different to other meross products and homekit.
The strip is a very low count led strip, so the light intensity will be quite low compared to others.

This is if youre fitting it into a gap or space to hide the strip or into a cover tube

As this is a raw led strip with no cover if youre adding an opaque cover strip the leds will probably still show up individually

The cover tube products usually suggest 120 leds per meter 33 per foot

The initial unravelling of the led and connecting to the control box was not so clear in that it is a onewayonly connection to allow it to work but it is possible to plug in the wrong way
