Pros & Cons
Pros
These are excellent smart led color-changing bulbs. They synch very nicely with goggle. They display the different colors well (not all rgb smart bulbs do), so glad about that. Price is pretty phenomenal for 2 smart rgb bulbs.
The meross wi-fi smart light bulb is a fantastic addition to any smart home setup. It has an impressive range of vibrant colors that can transform any room's ambiance.
Expanding the range of preset lighting scenes or offering customization options would add further versatility. There are no preset routines but the options are useful following sunrise/sunset or setting a start and end time. Updated 10/1/23 software u... Read More
At maximum brightness, even in colors, they seem much brighter. The bulb is about 10 percent longer than a typical standard bulb. They are very bright when need be.
Cons
Customer service is non-existent, and their help articles are confusing and fragmented. Baffled because it’s not a limit of the hardware at all. Wi-fi not the source of problem, the software is defective.
It's own app rarely can find it. The instructions are useless and the app is useless.

I love the meross light bulbs, app it's easy to manage, they are not the cheapest ones, yet, they serve good and are durable.
Installation was easy, scan the bulb for homekit and then screw the bulb in and the rest is downhill from there.

Competitiveness
I have both apple (siri) and amazon (alexa) devices within my home and these lights work interchangeably with my homepods and echo dots.
They are a great replacement for the more expensive name brand bulbs and work seamlessly with apple home
Bought these as a cheaper alternative to philips hue.
I picked these bulbs because i had some problems with other smart bulbs made by a different company.
