Meross app shows you your wi-fi strength and gives you even more ways to control the smart plugs. Links with google home for integration and automation. App works well.
They just work no muss no fuss and no disconnecting from my echo dots or the alexa app on my ipad. They work great with alexa.
Cons
Disconnecting, resetting, updating etc. Can take up to two minutes. After that the plugs frequently drop the signal and have to be unplugged and plugged back in. It works maybe 30% of the time.
This is rather annoying. Defeats the purpose and makes it very inconvenient. Should be a clear disclaimer.

Had bought a set of four alexa compliant plugs from costco but alas i struggled to connect these to alexa as their softwareapp was not on the registered list of compatible apps
