Pros

These are great for home automation. You have to install an app for each and then port the skill over to alexa so it can take over. Works with many smart systems but i am an apple bigot so the apple home is our base.

The meross plug can connect to an apple homekit network. It can be used to turn off the printer from anywhere. The plugs need to be reset, but they are very reliable.

Cons

Sold as wifi and bluetooth, it is not. The plugs state they are good for 15amps. Tried multiple times, resetting, and tweaking my process - could only get one of the 4 to pair. It's nearly impossible to reconnect it to wi-fi and keep it connected.

You really can't beat the price for the overall reliability.

It has most of the advantages of thread and matter for a much lower price
