Install the free the app plug in the smart plug select the meross description from your wifi choices mine said enther press the button on the side of the plug and it instantly connects

It does not have a random onoff function but you could use the app to change times wherever you are

I also find the app better than wemos plus the meross switch is much better priced

Also you can set up timer for your plugin stuff or use it in kitchen and turn it off remotely from your phone if you forgot to unplug something

Smart plug arrived on time plugged into socket downloaded app followed instruction and with in a minute it was hooked up
