Pros

This one is the shizzle yo! Works great. On the brighter side, this is also one of the lower prices that i've come across.

Easy to setup, easy to use. A lot of possibilities and flexibility for a cheap price with an effortless setup. It was a little tricky to install, once i determine how to do that it seems to work very well.

The plug is well constructed and has etl approval and conforms to ul. I like that this doesn't obstruct the whole outlet like a lot of smart plugs do. The only caveat is i wish it weren't a wide brick plug as it can block an outlet.

Thermostat mounted in electrical box about 2 feet lower. Perfect for guests who arrive at various times and often when we are not on the premises. Heat can be dialed in to the perfect temp.

This product requires 3 wires inside the wall to work - both hot legs from the breaker and one 'load' wire. Makes its first connection to apple homekit (beware android users) and then fails every possible way to connect with alexa.

It was easy to install, has amazing features, and works great with alexa!

This product requires 3 wires inside the wall to work - both hot legs from the breaker and one 'load' wire.

Item has freeze protection so it can not be turned off without shutting it off at the breaker which is a pain.

Overall, highly recommend, especially for the price!

I was using a smart thermostat from another brand and this one works better.

So, an ok option if you already have meross products and don't use homekit, but otherwise there may be better choices.
