My alexa echo plus 1st was able to discover the device effortlessly after having it installed over the meross app voice control works without flaws as well as incorporation into routines via the alexa app

I reckon if you have a lot of routines for different devices the display can get a bit confusing since it basically lists each routine without grouping it together for each device but this might only be a potential downside
