Quality
I've fallen in love with the quality of merrell, and their fit for my feet.
I have no problem with the zipper.
I've never been disappointed with the merrell brand.
The toe box on these was a little too snug for me with the orthotic in place.
Packaging/appearance
The inside of the boot actually comforts your foot instead of being hard and causing pain at the end of the day when you remove them.
Competitiveness
They have a wider footbed than normal, so there is no crowding of the toes or ball of the foot.
I replaced the insoles with superfeet orthotics for good arch support.
I ended up returning because the style didn't look good under bootcut jeans.

I iiked these boots just too long i wear a 7 my heel slipped right out of the boot good quality roomy in the toe area which i need but if they fit me would have kept them but returning i would recommend this boot if they fit you

Even though the footbed is on the wide side the ankle opening is narrow

A loop or pulltab at the back of the shoe would have been helpful pulling the boot over my heel but because it is lacking i gave the boot only 4 stars
