Alverstone boots are fine for casual friday at work, or light walks on paved/gravel trails at the dog park. They have major arch supports for the avid walker/hiker. I like merrell because the hiking boots are no nonsense affordable products.

They are very lightweight and breathable even though they are waterproof. Not waterproof but are likely resistant to light exposure and shallow puddles. Sturdy, comfortable and waterproof.

It has cloth loops instead of metal lacing hooks, a less chunky sole, and still have a conservative appearance. The suede material walks clean if you get it dirty or muddy unless you get in heavy clay mud. The color goes with all my work pants.

These fit like a glove. These are great. It’s a great pair of shoes.

He is a handyman and on his feet all the time. These are the ones he wears most days.

I wonder if it is counterfeit? Save yourself the effort and $$ and try a more durable pair. Very disappointing and unethical.
