The toe strap is just placed too far back, by like half an inch. Had to return. I'm 68 years old so it's not because i abused these things.

For my foot it took over a week to stretch out the straps enough where they started to feel comfortable around the foot

I ended up liking them after the first week but the initial reaction was to send them back because they were too small in that the straps were tight
