Comfortable right away - no break in period. Would buy again. Could be a little lighter. Would wear them with a fellow who aims for 10 miles of walking per day.
Moccasin design allows me to surreptitiously slip them off while at my desk. They have good traction and are slip resistant. They are secure, supportive, and comfortable from start to finish.
Cons
This shoe behaves as if you are walking on oil if you wear it walking on damp tile, such as the platforms or stairs of the nyc subway system. Invariably one of the shoes has a problem. Won't go with this brand again.

Having almost worn out a pair, i was happy to get another at an excellent price.
In the past, my husband would go to walmart and buy this knock off for $20 and in a month, they looked like he had worn them for years!

Last pair i ordered were perfect, right box and nicely wrapped.
Was not wrapped, just dumped in box.

I started buying merrell off amazon last year and what a difference.
I didn't search for other brands or shoes that "looked" like these.
