Pros
These waterproof jungle mocs keep my feet dry, whether i'm sloshing along rain covered sidewalks or moving through a few inches of snow. My go-to shoe for navigating the nyc urban jungle.
Merrill’s are definitely more on the snug side. I have a wide (eee) foot, and the w version fits me perfectly. They have every size in black but 9 wide! I have another pair of merrell boots, size 13, which fit perfect.
Cons
The insole and sole are really thin. The thin soles provide no cushion and i developed pain in my bunion and foot pad. The non-waterproof ones are more waterproof.
The latest pair is small, or sort of misshapen, pinching my feet at a number of points. Also, it's only sprayed with scotch guard or the like. Merril needs to change the adhesive.

After he at the last one he had diarahea and puking and stomach problems for a week.
Price
A tad more expensive but so worth it as i can get 2 or more years of very hard wear out of each pair.
I end up paying a fortune for those inserts, so i was hoping that these would be good for wearing in the house.
Great show to bad when on sale they do not have my size, get it cheaper from merrell site

I got these as backup on a long trip.
Competitiveness
Overall a great value and i will purchase more from merrel.
My husband likes them better than any that he has purchased from the shoe store.
I am using these to replace old slip-ons from merrill that have worn out.
