Pros

First mud, river, and slush. These boots are great on rough terrain. I actually use them as an everyday shoe.

Rigid enough to cushion me from rocks and roots on the trail but soft enough to “feel” the trail and enjoy the hike. Very comfortable on long hikes and durable. Exceeded my expectations.

Great comfort, sturdy and solid, easy to clean. Best fitting and supportive boot ever.

Cons

Poor product from a respected company. Very disapointed in this pair.

Broke one of the eyes on second day of wearing. Merrell makes great shoes but this design flaw will keep me from from buying any of their models with a similar eyelet design in the future.

These boots are definitely not waterproof! After less than 3 months, they are no longer waterproof. I think if this seller wiped the boots down people might not realize they are moldy and keep them.
