Pros

Hiking shoes are heavier and more substantial. Allows room for thicker socks. Merrells are generally all i wear. The shoe and the laces are made of high quality materials.

I love the ones pictured here because they are a gorgeous light green. They're worth it at full price. Discounts are bonus. These are my first merrell's and they've made me a loyal customer.

The moab vent 2. Are out and the reviews are sketchy at best, so i bought a spare pair at a great discount. Great hiking shoe.

Cons

They are slick in the snow, because the gaps in the tread are too small.

The right shoe is not correct. The toe box is off and all of my toes were rubbing. My toes were cramped. Too much toe space.

With vibram rubber you know your getting a quality sole.

I tried many other brands of hiking shoes but the quality wasn’t there, including solomon’s.

I have high arches so i do switch out the supports that come with the shoes for ones that provide more support.
