Pros

Hiked over 12 miles in 2 days at yosemite and shoes never bothered me. I don't usually wear hiking shoes, so i find them heavier than running shoes.

The newer moab 3 is very comfortable out of the box then like slippers comfortable after more break in. The toe box in the newer 3 is slightly wider than the previous version 2. A half size larger works for me and would be recommended.

Cons

Curvature of toe creates bunions on my big toe. Soles have no flex and they clap the floor like clown shoes.

Amazon is becoming like buying a commodity on the spot market. Another disturbing trend i'm seeing on amazon is prices rising 10% or more after you put an item in your cart.

I only wear merrell shoes and this is the first pair i’ve hated. They feel like a cheap pair of walmart brand shoes at best. These even crinkle like it's made of candy wrappers inside.

Only complaint is that they are expensive but this has not kept me from buying.

I have tried one other merrill shoe but came back to the moab 2 for comfort.

With other brands, i had to settle for 9.
