Pros

The in-soles are removable so as to allow for insertion of your own custom orthotic. Plenty of room for an additional dr scholl’s insole insert.

This color looks really nice. It is nicer than the picture shown in the ad. It fits snug without being too tight. They're comfortable and supportive.

Cons

The footbed/insole is hard and lumpy. The material used for the uppers is soft and has too much give, so the shoe feels very sloppy on your foot. It's like the heel is too high or the arch support is in the wrong place.

Solid construction, durable sole, and very comfortable to walk in on grass, dirt, rocks, and asphalt.

They are very sturdy and hold up well.

I am very hard on my shoes and even these shoes i have to replace twice a year.

These last for about 6-8 months which for me is expected for how much i abuse them every single day.

Price

Highly recommend it especially for that price.

To me, you can spend more but you won’t be getting your moneys worth.

If you're looking for a good activity shoe, this is worth the price.

I gave it 4 stars because i got a pair of boots that didn't have a box and were a little muddy.

Received compliments on style from my men's prayer group.

Honestly they were so comfortable right out of the box i didn't even need to.

Competitiveness

I’m comparing these to my solomon gts.

Replaced some quite old hiking shoes from columbia and i feel the difference.

I found out that the new sole emblem is actually real and that that manufacturer is a new "partner" with merrell.

I was originally worried that these might be some kind of "knock-off" brand but they are not.
