Pros & Cons
Pros
Both are merrell comfortable and require zee-ro break-in. Extremely comfortable and durable. Sturdy, adequate cushion and foot protection. Good foot support as well as ankle support.
Can't find better waterproof boots with vibram soles for under $100. They are like a cross between a real hiking boot and a sneaker, but much lighter than a heavy-duty hiking boot. Waterproofness isn't super great, however unless you're jumping jn gia... Read More

They are pretty good no slip, comfortable, good arch support, etc.
Before: the last pair was moab 2 and lasted 2 years through both construction and mowing.
I have fallen twice when the laces from one foot got caught in the lacing hook of the opposite shoe.
Price
We were in a pinch for new shoes for my husband and found these at a much lower cost!
Thought i was buying the ones i know (moab 3 prime) the primes are all leather and about $20 more.
Thought they were a little pricey when purchased, but have since reconsidered that view.
Yes, they cost a little more than what i was accustomed to buying, but since that first pair i keep coming back to them for a few reasons.
Shipping
I think they shipped the wrong size to me.
He tried him on right away soon as we received them and they fit perfectly.
Packaging/appearance
Video says it's waterproof; but there's no way to know from the description or packaging or product labeling.
Competitiveness
Yes, they're now worn out (thus the reason for this purchase) but they've been through a lot and gave me more than my money's worth.
I threw my other two pair of competitive brand out.
He tends to roll his feet outward and i know merrell is a good brand.
