I bought these for work i turn wrenches for a living … outside of the oil i deal with daily they stay planted to the ground and are very comfortably for those that have had meriels before the break in was not bad at all they were just like a pair of converse

Im going to lead with the negative that these actually arent waterproof despite the statements on here and on the merrell website and that is about the only disappointment

Also it’s not wide and flat think duck foot like some shoes it is wide and tall

After a few hours of breaking them in i would have to tighten them

Well once water hits the inside theyre done they become very sloppy and must be completely dry before climbing

No matter how tight you lace them they will slip around
