Pros

The shoe envelops my foot pretty well, so it's not slippin' about. My heels actually feel good for once while exercising. It's probably not a good choice for heel-strike runners, but they work great for me.

They fir well, have a good feel, and seem like theyre chock full of that merrell quality. Much better than expected based on some of the other neg reviews.

Cons

These shoes are not “barefoot shoes” the amount of arch support in these is rediculas.

After much research, and shoe returns, a legend is dead. It's bad i should of listened to the reviews on this one. Nothing at all.

These are not minimal shoes. When analyzed by the standards of barefoot/minimalist shoes, it misses the mark. Wayyyyy to maximal for a minimalist or barefoot shoe.

This is a different shoe, and i hate it. I guess merrell wants out of the barefoot running shoe market. The time i’ve wasted here is enough to crush my love of this line of shoes.

Quality

I put on a good 10,000 steps most days in these babies with no discomfort due to their light weight and natural feel.

I personally like these and i get enough nueral feedback from the thinner soles and flexible casing to build the ankle and foot stability.

These fit perfectly from the very first time i put them on, and lasted over 1100 miles of running before showing any significant wear.

The shoe can slip or be laced as tightly as anyone could want.

Seller promptly offered a full refund because they unfortunately did not have any more sneakers in my size to exchange.

I received whole black not like on the picture

The toe box was a little wide at first but my toes have spread a little and now fits just right.

I tried a few other brands before coming back to merrells.

I don't know how many pair of merrell trail gloves i've bought but it's a lot.
