Pros & Cons
Pros
The vapors are my second pair of merrell barefoot shoes. The sole is thin, and it gives me a good feel of the ground when i run. I love the dynamic of barefoot running and these shoes allow for proprioception and flexibility underfoot. I hope this inf... Read More
They have great grip on the sole of the shoe for all the hikers. Would be a good boat shoe, too. The laces are elastic. And lastly, they are lightweight.
The merrell feel as nice, like you are wearing nothing. But be woke about it. Comfort of these is incredible.
Cons
They look nice and they’re comfy but what’s the point of spending money on shoes that only last for 3. It feels pinched compared to those. If you like super thin shoes without any soul support or cushion these are for you.
These are significantly narrower than the vg 3 and 2. Seems odd they chose to go narrower in the toe box for a shoe that is barefoot and shoule support toe splay. One loop for the left shoe was not sewn onto the shoe, rendering it useless.
Highlights
Quality
I’m really impressed with the vapor gloves.
The shoes arrived very quickly and true to the merrell brand, seem to be of great quality.
Can't say comfy, cuz obviously these are a minimalist barefoot style shoe but the quality isn't that great.
I will come back and edit this if the quality turns out not to be as good as i thought.
