Quality
The shoes arrived very quickly and true to the merrell brand, seem to be of great quality.
I wear these all day every day and am always comfortable.
I will come back and edit this if the quality turns out not to be as good as i thought.
Can't say comfy, cuz obviously these are a minimalist barefoot style shoe but the quality isn't that great.
Packaging/appearance
Plenty of room for toe splay in the the toe box.
Competitiveness
Sure, they won't win any fashion competition, but at least you won't look like a freak like when you wear the five fingers.

Only flaw is that the rubberized part that attaches between the sole and the upper is peeling off on one shoe but some glue should fix it at least temporarily

Normally i wear the vibram 5 finger shoes for walking but lets face it the five fingers are ugly and a bad fashion statement

After a little over three months of using them not even my daily drivers theyre coming unglued around the edges

You need to give time to adjust to minimalist shoes if youre not used to them but thats not specific to this shoe
